Project Description

Alphard Star, a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) was coated with RUST GRIP, SUPER THERM and ENAMO GRIP.

Coating Solution

2 coats of RUST GRIP, 1 coat of SUPER THERM, 1 coat of ENAMO GRIP.

Results

RUST GRIP completely sealed the existing firmly bonded paint with no need for blasting, while SUPER THERM reduced heat load into the main deck and accommodation bulk heads.  ENAMO GRIP was used for color and abrasion resistance.
