    August 28, 2004 Cloudy/ Fine 92.3°F 93.74°F

When Super Therm was applied in 1994, the room temperature had decreased by 9°F, and it was kept below the outside temperature. The coating maintained the same insulation effect in 2004, even 10 years after it was applied.

NASA Technology Transfer Agreement 2617 "Insulation & Corrosion"

    June 28, 1995

    Super Therm Ceramic Paint Insulation

Developed in conjunction with a division of NASA, this technology contains several ceramic components. When applied as a coating to walls, roofs, etc., it will provide a non-toxic, non-flammable, durable coating that keeps heat out. The coating is water based and environmentally friendly. It is applied in spray or roller form.

    Letters of Recommendation

"After meeting your company at the Off Shore Arabia Conference in April 2010, we decided to use Rust Grip on the deck of our ABS Class vessel Mubarak Challenger. It has now been over a year, and there are still no signs of corrosion development as originally promised by your company."

"We also coated the roof of the engine room with Super Therm to reduce heat and sound transfer to the upper living quarters. Additionally we used 3mm of Hot Surface Coating to reduce the surface temperature of the hot pipes running throughout the engine room. Both Super Therm and Hot Surface Coating have done exactly what you promised, and continue to perform under extreme marine environments."

"We look forward to using the same products on other vessels in the near future."

"Have carried out the surface temperature measurement as per given instruction. Temp. Instrument used - IR thermometer (as the most handy)"

Three decks coated with different paint have been measured at 13.00hrs on surfaces exposed to direct sunlight and the readings are as follow:

According to your request please find the following:
    Outside temp 93.2°F

    1. Red standard paint (ship’s port wing) – 133.52°F
    2. Monkey island standard white paint – 112.28°F/104.54°F underneath surface from bridge compartment
    3. Super Therm paint (above C/E cabin) – 107.6°F/82.94°F underneath surface from C/E cabin

    Our Observations:
Although only D-deck and C-deck tops have been coated with SuperTherm there is a significant temp. difference in the cabins, which are fully exposed to sunlight. It would be better effect of course if such product could be used on accommodation bulkheads too. In my personal opinion it was a right decision to apply such H-Tech coat.

"Further to our discussion, this letter will confirm the occurrences in Kirkland, Quebec, at our existing twin sheet ice arena. In October of 1998 we applied 7 dry mils of Super Therm ceramic insulation coating to the exterior of our stress skin metal building. Everyone in Kirkland was skeptical that the product would insulate the building due to the harsh climate. After two years of operations I was convinced to insulate the building with standard insulation to see if the hydro and gas costs would be reduced. The building has now been in operation for a further two years and I can tell you that the hydro and gas bill did not change at all. The application of $30,000 of additional insulation did nothing. This of course re-affirmed my faith in your product and I have decided to use it on our Surrey expansion and all other future ice arena development.

I extend my personal thanks and appreciation for your support of the Air Force Renewable Energy Symposium in Tucson on June 28 and 29th. The Air Force is committed to be a leader in developing and using renewable energy to support our mission and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. We can only meet this objective with the involvement and support of a wide range of government, regulatory and renewable industry leadership. Your presentation on Innovative Use of Ceramic Coatings to Alter the Approach to Building Heat Gain was very informative and valuable to our efforts."
